    Description

    Perfect for a reenactment or Highland Fairs. For consideration is a 3pc set of a beautiful handmade drawstring-waist skirt, matching capelet, & face mask. I have keep it very simple and classic. Fabric is a lovely, very soft, cotton & viscose blend. It is light and would be easy to wear to a hot summer event. The capelet (lined in cotton muslin) is very full with a generous neck size and closes at the neckline with a fancy ivory frog sewn on by hand for a quality look. The drawstring waist skirt ties at the back seam with a matching gross grain ribbon. Waist band is about 1" wide and is top stitched for a clean finished look.
    The
    hem is a slightly fringed selvage edge, ready for wear or hemming & cannot be made longer. If you need me to hand or machine hem it for you at an additional cost of .00, please let me know at time of purchase so there will be no delays in the shipping. The plaid pattern is matched at the back seam for a quality look. Lots of fullness so it can be worn over a crinoline and most hoop skirts, please see the sweep measurements. Ribbon edges are treated with a fray block. The matching face mask has stretch, adjustable ear loops and is also lined in muslin cotton. This 3pc outfit is a unique, one-of-a kind, handmade piece; no one else will be wearing the same skirt to whatever event you attend.
