Taken directly from an original in a private collection, this haversack was widely used, and has been found in many private and museum collections. The Museum of the Confederacy, for example, has several examples of this issue haversack. This haversack required extensive development of hardware and pattern. We produced several prototype patterns in digital format to ensure an accurate end product. We did not produce the first one until we were absolutely satisfied with the end product.
