After research and understanding that moonlit is considered on of Moorcrofts preferred accomplishments. More importantly this lamp has weathered the test of time maintaining its beauty and elegance, with no crazing, only the comfort and beauty it retains over the last 100 years. I consider this a matter of the care and ownership given to this vase by its owners. It was made clear to me that its present owner does not want this lamp to wind up as a bargaining product. The size and quality make this possibly the only one of its kind. We are hoping it will be purchased by someone who appreciates this one of a kind serenity and beauty of the Moonlit lamp.
The Moorcroft moonlit lamp was made in the Early 19th century. Maybe the largest and most sought after Moonlit Moorcroft lamp. Condition is incredible.
The lamp is signed in blue hand, we have not photographed it for fear of disturbing the base padding. Only major change was professionally rewiring in the last 100 years.

The fittings show the elegant aging of the piece, and the overall dimension from base to the upper tip of the brass fitting is 30".
