MOORCROFT POTTERY BOWL HIBISCUS PATTERN GREEN BASE COLOR CLASSIC SHAPE 7"

Description

Wonderful Moorcroft bowl made in England.  Green background with yellow, ruby, deep purple, cobalt and green coloring on the inner bowl.  Outer glaze in green transitioning to blue tones toward the pedestal base.  The brush strokes certainly represent the artist work.  Measures 7 1/8' rim to rim, sits 2" high with a base that measures 2.75" across.  Marked on the bottom with impressed Made in England, Moorcroft and lll hash marks on the base inner rim that may be an artist mark.  Overall condition is quite good, without chips or cracks though there is light surface wear on the outside body finish, some light crazing and a whitish film in a few areas that may be from improper cleaning by previous owner.  I gave it a quick rinse and will leave any detail cleaning to the buyer.  Please refer to pictures and ask any questions prior to bidding.
This item will ship wrapped and double boxed to protect it from the shipping gorillas across the country.
