    Description

    Moorcroft Prestige Parramore 20 1/2” Vase Designed By Rachel Bishop and completed on 4/17/02. This was probably my favorite vase of all time. Inspired by “Parramore” a small island off the coast of Virginia. Parramore Island is renounce for its diversity of habitats for wildlife, including salt marshes, ancient dune ridges, maritime forests, fresh and brackish ponds and wetlands. Rachel has produced a panorama vase of great beauty and tranquility.
    After ten years as a designer for Moorcroft, Rachel Bishop has surpassed in reputation and quality all of her predecessors reputation. When examples of her work come on the secondary market they are highly sought after and carry a significant premium.
    As a retailer for Moorcroft in 2002 I purchased eight of these magnificent vases, each selling as soon as it arrived. I have never seen one of these come on the market. This vase has been on display in my home since 2002. It now awaits a new home due to downsizing.
    The vase measures approximately 20 1/2” tall, has a foot with a diameter of 8 1/2” and at its widest 10 1/2”. This vase is in excellent condition. Moorcroft did not supply their blue boxes for Prestige pieces. This will be very carefully wrapped to get to you in the same excellent condition.
