    Congratulations!!You are viewing a wonderful 1860's civil war period ladies' zouave jacket . This jacket is a size 16 and fits the lovely lady with Bust 38 and Waist 30. There is  wiggle room (approximately 4") in the jacket .  If you need assistance determining your size, please feel free to send us an email through EBay or to TheColonelsLady at AOL. As period sizing is different than today's sizing, we want to be sure you get the right size the first time! If we don't have the color / style or size you need, we do special orders! A fully lined bodice and sleeves gives the jacket an extraordinary strength and a much better look - and it should wear like iron. The second layer of fabric is not hotter in the summer, actually, it will get the perspiration away from the body.
    Jacket is made from cotton velvet and can be worn as an over jacket with your other dresses!
