This "Automatic Answering" capability answers any ringing line and takes the calls to "music/message on hold" until you are able to handle that call with no interruption on your other  task or call.
Studies show most callers do not like to leave a message when calling but they do not mind staying on hold a few minutes longer to be connected to a live representative!

Other Auto Attendant machines ring an extension only or immediately take a message, they can not “hold the call” for as long as needed, in contrast iGreet machine greets and then moves the call to a pleasant “music on hold environment”- just like you would and that is the key difference   –    calls and rings are managed    – your choice of reminder rings or spoken announcements are played from iGreet built-in speaker or from connected wired speakers or from bluetooth wireless speakers in other rooms, in a pleasant controllable setting without stress until all calls are picked up live.

“. This is a feature that is beneficial and works because the device holds the line internally while sending a signal to the line, the telemarketer equipment then will hang up before the device announce the reminder.

Similar to an “auto pilot”
function in a airplane-you may turn "Auto Answer" OFF via a slide switch and then answer the calls live and use the device just as a “music/message on hold” or leave it ON and
answer the calls live in this case the device immediately connects the calls to you even if it just took it; or
set the number of rings high like 4 or 6 rings and answer the calls live, but if you could not answer a ringing line because you were on another call and did not want to interrupt the customer you can relax that iGreet will answer that ringing line for you until you are able to handle it.
The iGreet has an integrated analog adapter circuit which allows it to provide on-hold audio content to ordinary 1-4 line analog phones and digital cordless phones and the popular “KSU-less” 2-4 line corded or cordless phone systems. In addition it works on PBX and key system phones just install it at the KSU.
