Rare Moorcroft “Leaf Berry” Lidded Dresser Box/ Bowl.
Moorcroft has made the finest Art Pottery in the world since 1898 with their distinctive colours, slip-traced designs and high fired glazes. This is one of the rarer item. Mint Condition lidde dresser box/bowl. The bowl has three leaf sprays in pink/green/yellow which appears on three sides with coloration going into teal green/cobalt blue with a glossy teal/ cobalt blue interior.
The lid has a cobalt blue top knob, and 3 matching large leaf sprays surrounded by three groupings of six berry clusters in purple/pink/green.
Bottom marking on lid is I,pressed “Moorcroft” with green script over marking. Marking on bottom of bowl is I,pressed”Moorcroft”, made in England with green script. Paper label “ By Appointment, Moorcroft in script. Potter to H.M. The Queen.
