    Description

    Old Native American Turtle Rattle
    Made in Traditional Navajo style with Excellent Craftsmanship and Artistry
    The turtle figure is made of brown leather.
    The handle has a wooden core covered in sinew-stitched rawhide and colorful glass seed-beads that are embedded in some sort of natural resin or clay. The handle is further decorated with wooden beads, brass bullet shells, feathers, and horse hair.
    Turtle portion of the rattle measures 4" x 4" x 1¾"
    with a 9" x ¾" handle
    The ten tiny beads- either glass or seeds- make a crisp loud sound when shaken
    This rattle is no less than 30 years old and has seen some use, but is in excellent condition. No condition no issues- It's very solid and will continue to serve for use or display
    for many years to come- A Beautiful addition to anyone's regalia or collection.
